Destination(s): Dwight School New York, Courtyard Marriott Times Square, and other sites in New York City
Arrival and return: Families bringing their children to the Trip are responsible for dropping their child off at a designated location at the start of the Trip, and picking them up at the end.
Description of Trip: Join us for Dwight Global's STEAM Weekend as we embark on a delicious journey with "Big Apple Eats: Exploring Food Science in NYC." This immersive experience brings together biology, chemistry, and culinary arts, offering students a unique opportunity to explore the science behind the foods that define New York City's diverse flavors. Through hands-on labs and interactive activities, students will investigate culinary chemical reactions, the biological processes that make food nutritious, and the cutting-edge innovations shaping our food systems.
Participants must currently be in grades 6 to 12.
