Destination(s): Dwight School New York, Courtyard Marriott Times Square, and other sites in New York City

Arrival and return: Families bringing their children to the Trip are responsible for dropping their child off at a designated location at the start of the Trip, and picking them up at the end. 

Description of Trip: Get ready for STEAM Weekend, 2026! “NYC in Color” takes place at Dwight NY’s campus February 6-8, 2026. Come celebrate the science and creativity that bring New York City to life. In Dwight NY’s hands-on science labs, students will investigate the chemistry and physics of color, and learn how light, energy, matter, and perception come together to create the vibrant world we see. Students will also explore how design and artistic expression shape human experience, combining scientific discovery with creative exploration. Inspired by the energy and diversity of New York City, NYC in Color invites students to see how technology, science, and design intersect to make our world more vibrant, connected, and alive. A beloved annual in-person tradition for Dwight Global students in grades 6-12, STEAM weekend brings students together in makerspace classrooms, leaving time for NYC outings to restaurants, museums, and other city highlights.
